My Story

My name is Irma Bondi, founder and CEO of Bondi Coaching & Consulting.  My career path is anything but straight and paved, and by sharing my story, I hope to inspire more people to chase their purpose and dreams - not just settle.

My Career Journey

• My career began at an exceptional accounting firm in Chicago as a financial auditor. I heavily invested in this path, by receiving two accounting degrees, passing the CPA exam, and was promoted twice. 

• Additionally, I was involved in the Firm's recruiting efforts. Although recruiting wasn’t part of my original career vision, I couldn’t ignore a pull towards a full time career in recruiting, where I felt I could make a much more significant impact.  

• For over a decade, I invested in learning about the world of HR, including obtaining an HR certificate and focusing on talent strategy, while also staying close to accounting and business development. 

  • I built a recruiting team, and expanded internal recruiting efforts to various departments as well as built up an external recruiting service line offered to clients.  I was promoted three times, with the most recent and my most proudest - Director of Recruiting Services (a first ever position for the Firm).

• I began to look at life though a different lens and discovered the world of professional coaching. The more I learned, the more passionate I felt that this was the next step in my career evolution. 

• I started this organization with a love and drive to make a positive impact on others. I view career journey as an evolution of my professional aspirations and I am incredibly proud of my perseverance to never settle! ​
